Award-winning actress Jennifer Garner completed her 67th consecutive day of running a mile this past weekend to help raise funds and awareness for the international nonprofit organization Save the Children.
The event, which was sponsored by the sports brand Brooks Running, culminated on June 22 in Santa Monica, California.
Garner launched her running challenge on April 17—her 53rd birthday.
The actress serves as an ambassador and a member of the Board of Trustees for the children’s charity, which works to improve the lives of children around the world by supplying them with better health care, education, and economic opportunities.
As part of the 67Strong4Kids campaign, Save the Children encouraged supporters to donate $67 to help combat global hunger.
The charity said the funds would cover a six-week supply of the treatment, “bringing one child from acute malnutrition to the chance of a healthy, thriving life.”
So far, Save the Children has raised $500,000 of its $1 million goal for the campaign.

Hundreds of people joined Garner, both virtually and in person, for her last mile.
In her Instagram caption, the actress expressed gratitude to those who supported the challenge, either by showing up, running along, cheering her on, or donating to the campaign.
“This movement started as a 67-day challenge, but it became so much more: a powerful reminder of what we can do when we move together for good,” she wrote.
“Every step brings us closer to saving children from the brink of starvation. Thank you @becsgentry and @brooksrunning for helping make Sunday so special—a little ripple of goodness put into the world.”
Garner landed her breakout role in 2001, playing Sydney Bristow on ABC’s spy-action series “Alias,” which aired for five seasons. Her performance garnered her a Golden Globe in 2002 for Best Actress in a Television Series.
The actress is also known for her roles in “Pearl Harbor” (2001), “Catch Me If You Can” (2002), “Daredevil” (2003), “13 Going on 30” (2004), “Elektra” (2005), “Juno” (2007), and “The Adam Project” (2022), among other films.
