Apple TV+ has announced a forthcoming dramedy based on the bestselling memoir “I’m Glad My Mom Died” by former child star Jennette McCurdy, with actress Jennifer Aniston set to take on the lead role as the mother figure.

The 10-episode series will explore the complicated dynamic between a rising young actress and her manipulative, narcissistic mother. The project marks a significant move for both Aniston and McCurdy—one a veteran actress with deep roots in television and film, the other a former child star turned author and filmmaker.
