Actor and comedian Jeff Garcia, best known for his role voicing “Sheen Estevez” on the TV series “The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius,” has died at age 50.
On Dec. 10, his son, Jojo Garcia, confirmed news of his passing in a heartfelt social media post, featuring a carousel of photos and paying tribute to his life as a father and entertainer.
“He taught me so much and gave me advice that I live by every single day. He was a Father, Son, Uncle, Cousin, Brother, but most of all, he was my best friend.”
“He believed in me, in a way that nobody else did. The talent my father possessed was truly one of a kind,” Jojo Garcia continued. “From voice acting to stand up comedy, he shined with his quick wit, brash humor, and charm.
“He has made such an impact on people’s lives internationally whether you grew up watching Jimmy Neutron, or shared a laugh with him at one of his shows.”
An official cause of death has not yet been released, however, the outlet reports Jeff Garcia was hospitalized this year on multiple occasions for medical issues which included a brain aneurysm, a stroke, and a case of pneumonia.
As his health declined, the actor canceled multiple scheduled performances. On Dec. 8, he was admitted into the hospital for difficulty breathing, before his lung collapsed the following day.
