Grey’s Anatomy Actor Eric Dane Now Requires 24/7 Care as ALS Worsens

Rebecca Gayheart, the estranged wife of actor Eric Dane, is opening up about the raw reality of his battle with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and the impact on their family as a whole.

In a personal essay published in “The Cut” on Monday, Gayheart, 54, said the incurable neurodegenerative disorder is rapidly progressing and that Dane now requires around-the-clock care.
