Gabrielle Union Shares Husband and Retired NBA Star Dwyane Wade Is Cancer-Free

In January, Wade revealed he underwent surgery to remove a cancerous tumor and 40 percent of his right kidney in 2023.

Actress Gabrielle Union shared a health update on her husband, Dwyane Wade, after the former NBA star recently revealed he had a cancerous tumor removed in 2023.

Speaking to Access Hollywood on Feb. 27, the 52-year-old confirmed Wade, 43, is “doing great now” after having undergone surgery to remove the tumor and 40 percent of his right kidney.
