Dolly Parton is heading to Las Vegas later this year for an extended run of concerts in the “Entertainment Capital of the World” for the first time in more than 30 years.
On Monday, the 10-time Grammy-winning country singer announced she will be kicking off a limited engagement at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on the Strip in December.
The mini-residency “Dolly: Live in Las Vegas” will feature only six performances that are scheduled to run from Dec. 4 through Dec. 13.
The string of concert dates will coincide with the National Finals Rodeo, a championship event known as the “Super Bowl of rodeo,” hosted by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association each year.
Tickets for Parton’s performances go on sale on June 25.
The Tennessee native, who released her debut studio album, “Hello, I’m Dolly,” in 1967, is expected to sing a variety of her classic hits, including “Jolene,” “I Will Always Love You,” “9 to 5,” and “Coat of Many Colors.”

Parton last performed an extended run in Las Vegas in the early 1990s.
She took the stage of the now-defunct casino resort The Mirage for nearly 50 shows between 1990 and 1993.
Ahead of her new limited residency, the country star is set to debut the latest book in her photographic trilogy.
“Star of the Show: My Life on Stage,” which hits bookshelves on Nov. 11, follows the release of 2020’s “Dolly Parton, Songteller: My Life in Lyrics” and 2023’s “Behind the Seams: My Life in Rhinestones.”
This fall, Parton will be honored at the 16th Governors Awards, scheduled to take place on Nov. 16 at the Ray Dolby Ballroom in Hollywood.
