Country music sensation Jelly Roll is beaming brighter than ever after a recent dental makeover. The 39-year-old star underwent a series of dental procedures, including veneer replacements and wisdom teeth removal, as documented by his wife, Bunnie Xo, in a humorous video on social media.

In the video, Jelly Roll, under the influence of sedatives, sits in the dentist’s chair, explaining the procedures to the camera. “I’m at the practice, getting all my teeth redone,” the “Need a Favor” singer states while connected to tubes.

“I’ve had these same veneers for 20 years,” Jelly Roll continues, displaying his teeth. “I’m finally getting them replaced, and I’m getting some implants and getting some cavities and wisdom teeth pulled out.”

Describing his experience as “completely mouth reconstructive surgery,” the Grammy-nominated musician jokes with his dentist about feeling positive amid the procedure, earning laughs from those present.

“I’m proud of you,” Bunnie, 44, affectionately remarks during the process.

Expressing his desire for a “pretty smile,” Jelly Roll reveals childhood struggles with his smile, recalling how he was subjected to teasing. His wife captures moments of the surgery, offering support by holding his hand.

Post-surgery, Jelly Roll, appearing groggy, shares, “I slept good,” before being escorted to his car, flashing a rock-and-roll hand sign and a newly enhanced smile.

Last week, Bunnie celebrated the one-year anniversary of leaving the sex work industry and shutting down her OnlyFans page. The singer’s wife marked the occasion with a Facebook post.
In a 2022 episode of Bert Kreischer’s podcast, Jelly Roll shared insights into the early days of their relationship. Recounting a time when he was living out of a van and earning $100 per night from performances, Jelly Roll expressed his financial struggles.

“I was dead broke, and she just kind of took to me,” he recalled.

Hailing from Nashville, Tennessee, the singer has been candid about his battles with substance abuse. Recently, Jelly Roll addressed U.S. lawmakers in January, shedding light on the issue of fentanyl use. He delivered a poignant testimony before Congress, urging lawmakers to take decisive action against the deadly scourge of fentanyl in the United States. Speaking before the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs, he drew from his own past as a drug dealer to underscore the gravity of the issue.

“I was a part of the problem. I am here now standing as a man that wants to be a part of the solution,” Jelly Roll declared.

He emphasized the urgent need for legislative measures like the bill proposed by Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.), which seeks to impose sanctions on transnational criminal organizations involved in trafficking illicit fentanyl and its precursors.

During his impassioned address, Jelly Roll highlighted the staggering toll of opioid overdoses in the country, painting a vivid picture of the human cost. “Could you imagine the national media attention it would get if they were reporting that a plane was crashing every single day and killing 190 people?” he asked, urging a shift in societal attitudes towards addiction.

Drawing from personal experiences, Jelly Roll underscored the devastating impact of addiction on individuals and families, revealing the profound losses he has endured. He reflected on his own past beliefs about drug dealing being victimless, juxtaposing them with the stark reality of witnessing his own daughter’s struggles due to her mother’s addiction.

Calling for proactive measures, Jelly Roll urged Congress to support the FEND Off Fentanyl Act, expressing confidence in its potential to stem the flow of fentanyl into communities across the nation.

Senator Sherrod Brown of Ohio commended Jelly Roll’s candid testimony, acknowledging his ability to connect with audiences through shared experiences of pain, challenge, and hope. The bipartisan support for the legislation underscores the widespread recognition of the urgency of addressing the opioid crisis.
