Atlanta rapper Richard Lamar Hawk, known professionally by his stage name “Silentó,” has been sentenced to 30 years behind bars for the deadly shooting of his cousin.

According to the DeKalb County District Attorney’s Office in Georgia, the 27-year-old pleaded “guilty but mentally ill” on June 11, to voluntary manslaughter in the 2021 killing of 34-year-old Frederick Rooks III.
