Eric Dane, an actor best known for playing Dr. Mark Sloan on the ABC medical drama series “Grey’s Anatomy,” is remaining positive amid his battle with an incurable degenerative disease known as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or ALS.
Dane, 52, sat down with veteran journalist Diane Sawyer for his first television interview since revealing his life-altering diagnosis two months ago. The conversation is scheduled to air on ABC’s “Good Morning America” on June 16.
