The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) allegedly demanded that Twitter owner Elon Musk hand the agency internal communications and information about layoffs as part of an investigation into the social media company, according to a House Judiciary Committee report.

The committee’s March 7 report detailed the FTC’s alleged attempts to pressure Twitter and made hundreds of demands of the company after Musk’s takeover in October 2022.
