Elgin High School in Elgin, Texas is under lockdown on Wednesday.
School officials have ordered a shelter-in-place over an threat that was telephoned in, reported KVUE.
The exterior doors have been locked.
The students aren’t in any danger, the secretary for the Elgin school district said.
The Travis County Sheriff’s Office says that the threat is over but they sent a SWAT team over as a precaution.
