Fans who purchased the recently released “The Elder Scrolls Online,” a massively multiplayer online role-playing video game (MMO), will not be able to use their subscription across multiple platforms like PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

According to The Examiner, the game was criticized for its subscription rules. After the 30-day free trial players have to pay $14.99 a month, or they could opt for the 90-day pass at $13.99 a month or the 180-day pass for $12.99 a month.

According to an email request for clarification by Reddit user Lapwner, the Elder Scrolls Online will need multiple subscriptions. “In order to play The Elder Scrolls Online on both PC/Mac and console, players will need to have two separate accounts and subscriptions: one for PC/Mac and one for the console of their choice,” the response email read.

After it’s release in April 4, 2014, “The Elder Scrolls Online,” a massively multiplayer online role-playing video game (MMO), was already reviewed and rated by some avid video game players.

The A.V. Club said that the online game’s developer has mastered the art of open-world games, however “The Elder Scrolls Online” is still riddled with bugs. For example some characters randomly start speaking German, messages sometimes get delayed, and some players lose access to guilds. Although, when the game runs smoothly, it’s an enjoyable ride, the website writes.

According to game reviewer on Tomsguide.com, the game got a 3.5 stars, saying that the pros are the “Huge world feels both familiar and new,” “Real players add fresh dynamism to the world of Tamriel,” and “ Tons of character customizations.” Although the game could alienate some fans.
