Activities for the Relay Hunger Strike for Human Rights have entered into the 55th day. In order to avoid having more fellow countrymen, who participate in the hunger strike based on their sense of morality and conscience, getting persecuted by the Chinese communist regime, we have formed a seven-person relay hunger group. We also suggest that participants use pseudo names when expressing their opinions. We still emphasize that, in the present situation -- when the judiciary system has completely become the most atrocious counter-revolutionary force that blocks citizens from maintaining their basic human rights, where the regime’s persecution of individual citizens has become completely reckless and unscrupulous, and when the individual under persecution is alone and helpless -- we are forced to adopt this kind of peaceful and rational way of expressing our aspiration. As human beings, when we suffer persecution, we have the right to appeal and to maintain human dignity.

In the future, the Hunger Strike Group will carry on hunger strikes in support of those who suffer illegal violent persecution because of their beliefs. Thoughts and speeches are God’s given rights. Any act that interferes with other people’s thoughts and speeches is an infringement of justice, of nature and is an encroachment of human rights. Safeguarding basic human rights endowed to us is safeguarding the dignity of universal truth, humanity and justice!

New Additions to Support:

Persecution fact: On March 13, around 6 p.m. in Wen County, Henan Province, a meeting held by “family church” encountered brutal assault by a large number of policemen. Eighty Christians were illegally abducted. The county residents among the detainees were released within 24 hours without proper legal procedures. Most of the followers were forcibly frisked; families of most followers were also illegally searched and their belongings were taken away. During this horrifying assault, an unknown number of Christians were beaten; Li Gongshe’s ribs were broken from the beating. As of now, there are still 24 Christians in custody with whereabouts unknown. A large number of Bibles and follower’s belongings were stolen.

2. The Shenyang Sujiatun Concentration Camp removes organs from living bodies and jails large numbers of Falun Gong followers

Persecution fact: A witness has confirmed that, the Thrombosis Hospital of Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine in Shenyang Sujiatun, Liaoning Province, China has imprisoned 6,000 Falun Gong practitioners since the beginning of 2001. No one has ever come out alive from this place. Shocking events have been happening there. This hospital removes large number of organs such as kidneys, livers, corneas, etc. from living Falun Gong practitioners, and has secretly discarded bodies into the crematorium, which was refitted out from a boiler. The remains and ashes in the boiler were discarded as boiler ash.

Persons and organizations that carry out the persecution are doctors and staff participating in the organ removal operation.
