Edgar Martirosyan, the owner of Big Mama’s and Papa’s Pizzeria, hand-delivered pizza to the Academy Awards on Sunday night, causing a buzz on Twitter.

He gave pizza to Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts, Jared Leto, Jamie Foxx, and Jennifer Lawrence, among other A-list celebrities.

“Guess what?” host Ellen DeGeneres said during the segment. “Pizza’s here.”

“I lied. We weren’t going backstage,” she told Martirosyan.

Martirosyan told USA Today that he’s owned the pizza shop for eight years, adding that he delivers, bakes, and manages 20 stores.

Martirosyan came in wearing an apron, baseball cap, and a hoodie.

DeGeneres joked that Sandra Bullock should give him a tip, but she said she didn’t have any money on her, with laughter ensuing. Reports say that she is going to make $70 million from “Gravity.”

DeGeneres then called out Harvey Weinstein, telling him that Martirosyan should be given whatever you think is right“ as there were ”only a billion people watching.”
