A second earthquake hit near Guam--this one closer than the last one.

The 5.0 magnitude quake hit just 34 miles from Inarajan Mayor’s Office and 37 miles from Mangilao Village.

It hit at a depth of 12.2 miles.

A previous quake, 5.5 magnitude, hit about 38 miles off the coast, but much deeper.

A quake at similar magnitude and depth to that one shook the whole island in January 2012 but did little to no damage.
