Earthquake Today in Oklahoma Hits Near OK City, Guthrie

An earthquake hit today in central Oklahoma about seven miles from Guthrie and 22 miles from Oklahoma City.

It also hit nine miles from Edmond and 20 miles from Bethany and Warr Acres.

The U.S. Geological Service pegged the quake as 3.8 magnitude although some reports had it as high as 4.2 magnitude.

After the quake hit just before 11 p.m. on Sunday, another quake, around 2.8 magnitude, hit in the same area.

The quakes come after five others have hit the area in the last several days.
