An earthquake hit today in California, about four miles northwest of The Geysers.
The 4.5 magnitude quake was also about 70 miles northwest of San Francisco and 73 miles west-northwest of Sacramento.
It hit at a depth of 1.6 miles, reported the U.S. Geological Service. It also hit 12 miles from both Clealake and Healdsburg, and 18 miles north of Windsor.
After the initial quake, dozens of aftershocks happened, including magnitudes of 2.6, 2.4, and 2.3.
