An earthquake struck Southern California near San Diego on Saturday morning.

The quake hit near Ramona, San Diego County Estates, Borrego Springs, and Alpine.

The quake had a magnitude of 2.2 and was 5.9 miles deep, according to the US Geological Survey.

A number of people said on Twitter that they felt the quake.
