Rumors are flying about which games will be at the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), which will be held in early June.

Let’s check out some the rumors.

Sony

Sony will be showcasing a lot of games at the E3, a source told DualShockers.

That includes “in-engine” footage interspersed with gameplay segments from Uncharted for PlayStation 4; details about a new title from Media Molecule; details about Gran Turismo 6 for PS4; a teaser for Gods of War 4; and a new RPG from Guerrilla Games.

It also said that Sony London will bring a new title to the expo while Sony Japan Studios will debut Project Beast--the spiritual successor to Demon Souls, and the Last Guardian, retooled for winter 2014. Another potential title “is shrouded in secrecy.”

Nintendo

A list that’s purportedly of the games that Nintendo will detail or unveil at the E3 has been circulating online though it hasn’t been confirmed.

The company is slated to give more details about the previously announced Super Smash Bros. 4 as well as Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.

The company will also unveil a number of games, such as Baonetta 2, Hyrule Warriors, Mario Party U, Yarn Yoshi, and Star Fox U.

Fans should also be excited about the list including the new Legend of Zelda.

In addition, Nintendo is reportedly going to reveal new hardware at the E3, according to sources including IGN and Videogamer. IGN editor Jose Otero said in a voice chat, “We’ve heard rumors that Nintendo might be showing hardware at E3.” IGN’s Peer Schneider added, “They’re absolutely going to show new hardware this year...No doubt in my mind that something... ‘Cause I’ve heard from multiple people now. I’ve heard from someone who used to be at Nintendo, I’ve heard it from somebody on the third-party front.”

And Videogamer added the same thing, saying that “Games compatible with the hardware will also be playable at the show.” Nintendo later denied the rumors.

Microsoft

A leak from a blogger earlier this month allegedly details the games that Microsoft will show at the expo.

Ryse 2 will be announced at the show in a real-time -in-game trailer. The game will reportedly have a medieval setting. It may not be released until 2016.

Forza Horizon 2 will also be announced, for a release in October of this year.

Halo 2: Anniversary is also a reported visual makeover of Halo 2, that includes multiplayer. Also, Halo 5 will get a release date.

Among the other rumors: Epic will showcase their new game based on the Samaritan demo from 2012. Lionhead will have a teaser from a new post-cataclysmic project. Black Tusk will have a new trailer for Gears of War: Lazurus. Good Science Studios will unveil EchoBlack.  A secret Japanese game will be unveiled.

EA

“Star Wars Battlefront” and five other games will be revealed by EA at the expo.

According to Polygon.com, the lineup will also include “Dragon Age: Inquisition.” “The Sims 4” and possibly the next “Mirror’s Edge” game might also be included in the lineup, the website added. GameSpot said that EA will likely also show a new “Need for Speed” game.

EA CEO Andrew Wilson said earlier this month that new information about Battlefront “and other new projects in development” will be unveiled at E3. Wilson told GameSpot that development for the game is coming along “very, very well,” and there’s “lots and lots of work to go.”

EA’s press conference at E3 is slated for June 9.

EA also teased another title that has yet to be announced. “If you don’t have a Battlefield in a year, you’ve got a hole there that you have to fill,” the publisher said, according to EuroGamer. “The way we’re filling that hole is essentially new titles along the lines of FIFA: World Cup, UFC, a golf game, The Sims and Dragon Age. I would say that fills about two-thirds of the hole and the rest of the hole we would assume is being filled by this new, unannounced game.”
