Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald will have a short engagement, with a wedding date set for November 1.
The pair announced their engagement last month.
Ben planned an intricate proposal day that included a long scavenger hunt that Jessa was to complete, including a plane ride with her brother and pilot John-David from Springdale, Arkansas to Eureka Springs, Arkansas and a trip to a miniature golf course.
At the end of the many tasks, she walked into Thorncrown Chapel, where Seewald was waiting with the ring.
“I walked in and he was standing there at the front,” Jessa told People magazine. “I could barely talk. I knew he was going to propose. I cried.”
She said that the wedding will likely be similar to Jill’s. “I don’t want to spend a whole bunch of money and buy a new set of decorations. We will save that money for the honeymoon,” she said.
The public wedding registry with Bed Bath & Beyond includes a number of items, including a 4-piece fine dining set; 16 items in the category of cookware including a stainless steel set priced at $499.99; and 16 kitchen electrics including a $199.99 blender.
There are also 140 items listed under kitchen, including a utensil tray, a tea infuser, and an ice cream scoop.
Overall, most of the over 400 items are less than $50, with 10 between $100 and $150, two between $150 and $200, and six over $200.
