One of the most popular mobile game applications, Draw Something, is sketching its way to TV soon.

Among all the TV shows that have been bidding for a primetime game show based on the Zynga application, CBS has garnered the game and will have Ryan Seacrest host the new show, Entertainment magazine Variety announced.

Variety said teams of celebrities and the public could test their skills in front of a studio audience for cash prizes. Viewers can also play along at home for a chance to win prizes and compete with the celebrities.

Draw Something, which was first available to iPhone users and later expanded to Android users, exploded in popularity this spring. The game involves competing players, often friends who are connected through Facebook, drawing pictures for each other to guess words.

Similar games have been adapted to TAV shows in the past, including “Pictionary” and “Win, Lose or Draw.”
