At L. Douglas Wilder Middle School on Wednesday, a student was found carrying a weapon.
Parents were notified of the situation via automatic call, reported WRIC. The type of weapon is unknown.
The student was arrested
The school is on Wilkinson Road near Chamberlayne Road.
