Actress Elizabeth Banks helps the Doritos brand kick-off the ninth installment of the Crash the Super Bowl contest, on Wed., Sept. 3, 2014 in Los Angeles. Fans from participating countries around the world are invited to enter their homemade 30-second Doritos ads as part of this year’s competition for the chance to see those ads air during the Super Bowl broadcast. Tonight at 6:30 p.m. (EST) the Patriots and Seahawks clash in the–hopefully epic–2015 Super Bowl.

But for the 10 team finalists of the Doritos Super Bowl Crash, even more excitement hangs in the air. One of them will see their Doritos ad air during the game.

Groups from around the world responded to Doritos contest call for a homemade ad spot. The winning team will get $1 million and a job with Universal Pictures.

Before we let you in on why we think we may know the winner and why our guess makes sense, let’s take a look at the finalists. The ads are 30 seconds long, so let’s reconvene in five minutes …

So what do you think?

Is it the first word of a child? Cute kid–makes sense, right? Well, let’s not get ahead of ourselves.

How about the one with the lemonade? Anybody attracted to the lemonade rather than the Doritos?

Then we have the guy on a plane. Ok, so the lady likes Doritos. But isn’t the guy a bit of an obnoxious character?

The science kid looks cool, right? The lengths he went to just to get the Doritos …

How about the dancers? One question: are dance lovers the primary Doritos consumers?

The spelling bee? You know it’s coming, right?

How about the screaming fish? Bizarre, but it may just work.

Maybe the vengeful children? It’s outrageous, but somehow still funny.

Then we have the husband-turned-child. It looks pretty original. Let’s just hope Doritos consumers don’t see themselves this way.

Lastly–our favorite–the allergies guy. Why? It’s funny, you get it right away, and it has a lot of Doritos!

Moreover, and maybe most importantly, it’s about guys getting together to watch a game. Do you want to invite your buddies to watch the Super Bowl? You better buy a lot of Doritos. Excellent selling point, isn’t it?

What’s your guess?
