Donald Trump just took over the @POTUS Twitter account just moments after he was sworn in as president of the United States.

In under an hour, the page had more than 5 million fans. As of press time, it had no tweets.

NBC News also reported that Trump will also use his own personal Twitter account, which has more than 20 million fans, to communicate to people. “Transition sources tell me @realDonaldTrump intends to keep using his own account as president, not switching to @potus himself,” reported NBC News’ Kelly O'Donnell.

Right after his speech, Trump started tweeting: “We will follow two simple rules: BUY AMERICAN & HIRE AMERICAN! #InaugurationDay #MAGA.”
