Disneyland Scraps Fastpass Service, Offers New ‘Lightening Lane’ Access

ANAHEIM—Disneyland fans: Say goodbye to Fastpass. Say hello to Genie.

The Disneyland Resort in Anaheim and the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida will introduce a pair of new digital services for park visitors this fall, offering planning tips and—for a $20-per-ticket fee plus additional costs for some rides—access to newly dubbed “Lightning Lanes’' allowing people to skip the long lines at select popular attractions.
