The Discovery Channel’s schedule on Monday, August 11 is mostly filled with Shark Week programs.
Many of the ones during the day are repeats from Sunday night but at 8 p.m. EDT a string of all-new programs are slated.
Great White Serial Killer: #ExtraSharky kicks things off.
“With extra footage and live social media updates – look into the mystery of similar shark attacks at Surf Beach in California,” the network says in a description. “The same 16-foot great white may be returning to the beach in a 2-year pattern & the next possible attack-date is approaching.”
At 9 p.m., Jaws Strikes Back is scheduled. In the hour-long program, marine biologist Greg Skomal and the REMUS SharkCam team travel to the remote Pacific island of Guadalupe to film the hunting behavior of the largest great white sharks on earth.
Next will be Monster Hammerhead.
“For the past 60 years reports of a monster hammerhead clocking in at over 20 feet long have circulated throughout Florida,” Discovery Channel said. “Now, a team of scientists and anglers explore the waters of the worlds largest hammerheads to see if these stories could be true.”
The night of programming will wrap up with Shark After Dark LIVE, where host Josh Wolf will chat with guests including Matt Walsh, Danny Trejo, and Richard Rawlings and Aaron Kaufman from “Fast N' Loud.”
