DAEGU, South Korea—Director and conductor of the Korea Buddhist Music Chorus, Ms. Kim Sun-Young, felt that she was given a second life after watching Shen Yun Performing Arts New York Company at Suseong Artipia on Feb. 28. “I am very excited because I feel a kind of inspiration and that I am uplifted. I have not been physically well recently, but after watching Shen Yun, I feel that I am reborn,” Ms. Kim said.

The performance drew thunderous applause from the audience at the final curtain call. “I watch Shen Yun every year,” said Ms. Kim, “This year I am even more excited. I am completely fascinated by the exquisite scenes in the show.”

“The music from the live orchestra is especially enchanting. The music perfectly manifesting the messages the stories conveyed. ... The color tones of the costumes blended in seamlessly with the messages it tried to send.”

“Buddha appeared and saved everything in the last program, Before Disaster, the Divine Is Rescuing. I felt the compassion of Buddha. Shen Yun cleansed my heart.”

“It feels like I entered a very peaceful, rainbow-like realm. I was in a dream and I experienced the beauty of being a bud emerging from earth during the awakening of spring.”

“Shen Yun’s costumes, music and digital backdrop absolutely amazed me. I believe that it will continue to be that way in the future.”

Ms. Kim drove for two hours to see Shen Yun’s last show in Daegu. She has also booked a ticket for Shen Yun’s show on March 1 in Daejeon. I have introduced Shen Yun to many people in Daejeon. It will be wonderful if more people can come to see such a fantastic show.”
