Scientists in Chile discovered dinosaur graveyard with nearly 46 full scaletons.

Dozens of fossils of dolphin-like creature, ichthyosaurs, were unearthed in Patagonia region after melting of glacier which revealed this place.

Four different species of the dinosaur were discovered measuring about 5 meters long. These creatures, whose Greek name means “fish lizards,” were a group of large, fast-swimming marine reptiles. Experts believe that the creatures swam the seas 245 to 19 million years ago.

Paleontologists say that the new discovery will revealed a new insight how the prehostoric creature lived and how they died.

The cause of death of found dinosaurs is not yet know but most likely they were killed during serios catastrophic mudslides.
