Callers to 911 reporting that a car was on fire–the care turned out to be actor Dick Van Dyke, and Van Dyke was in it–said that Van Dyke didn’t appear to know the car was on fire, and was slumped over in his seat.

“I don’t think he’s aware it’s on fire,” said one caller, according to the 911 tape recording that TMZ obtained.

One person finally pulled Van Dyke out of the Jaguar just before it exploded in flames.

Van Dyke wasn’t injured in the crash.
