When it comes to entertaining. I believe that beyond serving your guests a delicious meal, table presentation is almost just as important. So often guests will remember how “beautiful” the table looked or the decor in the room. While I love the concept of “soothing” colors for entertaining, depending on the occasion, festive and bold colors can be more appropriate. Here are some of my top tips:

  1. Layer your decor. When it comes to setting a table, I prefer to see for example a charger, dinner plate and salad plate.
  2. Create a unique centerpiece. A centerpiece does not have to be a floral, it could be a tall vessel filled with lemons, limes or peppers for example.
  3. Think of special touches such as personalized menus or name tags, these unique decor elements can go a long way towards creating a memorable party!
