Deniece Milinette Cornejo, 22, has accused television host Vhong Navarro of attempting to rape her, while Navarro claims that Cornejo and businessman Cedric Lee set him up in an extortion attempt.

Cornejo has now lashed out against people who don’t beleive her, emphasizing that “I’m not a CRIMINAL.”

Addressing the huge controversy on Facebook, Cornejo said that she hopes people pay attention to both sides of the story--as opposed to just Navarro’s--and that people shouldn’t pity the host because he is at fault.

Cornejo added that Navarro changed his story with the help of the broadcaster ABS-CBN, who he works for (and who interviewed him from his hospital bed).

“Everything you have watched before is carefully planned by the station,” she said.

Referring to the brewing battle--whether real or imagined--between rival stations ABS-CBN and GMA Network, Cornejo said that “this is not about the STATION WAR people, open your minds!”

“The main reason here is Vhong Navarro committed ah frustrated rape,” she said.

Lee has also denied claims that he tried to blackmail Navarro, saying that he and his wife were scheduled to go out with Cornejo and entered the student’s condo when they heard a struggle inside.

After that, they found Navarro trying to take Cornejo’s clothes off in her bedroom, Lee told ABS-CBN. He threw Navarro off of her and he and others held him, making a so-called “citizen’s arrest” and taking him to the police station.
