Deniece Millet Cornejo, the woman who has accused Vhong Navarro of trying to rape her, has denied Navarro’s claim that she had a sexual encounter with him on their first date.

Navarro said in his affidavit that the pair met at a sneaker store several years ago and became friends. Though they stopped talking for a while, they began hanging out again around two months ago.

Navarro said that the sexual activity happened on an unspecified date, during a sort of first date between the two, after they had shared a bottle of white wine.

But now Cornejo has denied the claim.

“That is not true,” her attorney, Howard Calleja, told ANC in an interview. “Really, nothing happened.”

The latest situation between the pair led Cornejo to claim that Navarro tried to rape her while Navarro said that Cornejo and businessman Cedric Lee conspired to blackmail him.

Navarro’s story was backed up by CCTV footage and Cornejo and Lee and sic others are facing a string of criminal charges, including illegal detention, which is a non-bailable offense.
