Gunshots were fired at Delaware Valley Charter High School in North Philly on Friday and the school is under lockdown.

Two students were shot, police said.

The teens--a boy and a girl--were both hit in the arm, reported NBC.

Chris May of CBS reported that the 15-year-old students were shot in the school’s gym around 3:30 p.m.

The students were taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center and are in stable condition.

Police said they have taken the suspected shooter into custody. They said they have video of the incident that shows the male student firing.

Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey says the shooter “was captured not too far from his home” but the gun hasn’t been recovered, reported AP. He says it’s unclear if the shooting was accidental or intentional.

The charter school is on Old York Road in Olney.

The school is a block south of Albert Einstein Medical Center and Girl’s High School.

Parents of students at Delaware Valley Charter are being told to report to Fisher Avenue and Old York Road.

“DO NOT GO TO THE SCHOOL,” Philadelphia Police said in a Twitter alert.
