Deion Sanders, the Hall of Fame NFL cornerback, was hospitalized with possible kidney stones, according to reports on Sunday.

Sanders--who played for the Atlanta Falcons, Dallas Cowboys, and San Francisco 49ers, and Baltimore Ravens--was sent to the hospital after he landed at the Los Angeles airport on Sunday, TMZ reported.

He said that he received assistance from two firefighters.

Sanders, 46, is being checked out for kidney stones or possible appendix problems.

Sanders now works with the NFL network as a commentator.
