DC Road Closures: Part of M St SE Closed, Inbound 11th Street Bridge Closed After Navy Yard Shooting

Part of M Street has been closed in Washington D.C. after the shooting in the Washington Navy Yard on Monday.

M Street southeast is closed from South Capitol to 11th Street, according to the district’s Department of Transportation.

Also, the inbound 11th Street bridge is closed.

The outbound 11th Street bridge is open. 

No other roads appear to be impacted by the shooting at this time.

Meanwhile, the metro system is not impacted at all at this time.
