New Zealand twins Caroline and Georgina Evers-Swindell have won the women’s rowing double sculls gold medal at the Beijing Olympics.

Australian scullers Scott Brennan and David Crawshay today won Australia’s second rowing gold medal of the Beijing Olympics.

The pair won the men’s double sculls, following the gold medal performance of Drew Ginn and Duncan Free in the men’s pair 40 minutes earlier.

Bulgaria’s Rumyana Neykova has won the women’s single scull at the Beijing Olympics rowing competition.

Norway’s Olaf Tufte has produced a storming finish to win the men’s single sculls at the Beijing Olympics rowing competition.
