Danny Amendola Injury: Patriots WR Injured Against Saints

Danny Amendola, the New England Patriots wide receiver, was shaken up against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday.

Danny Amendola, the New England Patriots wide receiver, was shaken up against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday.

Amendola took a vicious hit and faceplanted on the turf in the third quarter.

It appeared that he took a helmet-to-helmet hit.

He walked off the field under his own power.

It is unclear if he will return.

Amendola suffered a groin injury in Week 1.
