A dangerous stunt on Britain’s Got Talent went wrong, but fortunately no one was hurt.

The show--still getting a few million viewers every episode--typically includes a variety of acts, but few actually potentially life-threatening.

But Ben Blaque wanted to make an impression during the semi-finals, so he put his life in judge Alesha Dixon’s hands.

He told her to shoot an arrow at him while he was strapped to a board.

When Alesha pulled the lever, though, two arrows rocketed towards him, leaving the judges and audience members shocked, reported the Mirror.

Fortunately, both arrows missed.

“I think the fact that it went wrong made it better. I personally would not trust Alesha to pull the handle and fire an arrow at me. But in a strange way, by Alesha being an idiot and accidentally releasing two arrows, it made the act better,” judge Simon Cowell said.

Blaque himself later said: “The chord must have got tangled up and that would have caused two arrows to be sent off.”

There was bad news, though--Blaque was eliminated from the show.
