SAN FRANCISCO—Shen Yun Performing Arts closed its seven-show San Francisco engagement on Sunday afternoon, Jan. 8 to a sold-out crowd at the War Memorial Opera House.

Diane Scott brought her dance troupe to see the show and was full of praises: “The costumes are fabulous. The technique—but most of all, it’s the theme, and the story behind the show was so touching. It was so beautiful.”

The Shen Yun website states its mission is to revive the 5,000 years of divinely-inspired Chinese culture, which has been almost destroyed by communism. Shen Yun presents the deeper core of the culture with its values of benevolence, honor, propriety, wisdom, and sincerity, as well as a reverence for the gods and the heavens, which cannot be destroyed.
