Damien Lawrence Taylor has been arrested for the 2012 death of C.J. Fowler, whose body was found in a ravine in Kamloops in Canada in December 2012.
Taylor was arrested on January 12.
He was dating Fowler before her death, Royal Canadian Mounted Police announced at a press conference.
Fowler’s parents told Global News that they are relieved that someone has been charged.
Taylor is due to appear in court for the first time on Monday.
