NEW YORK—A beacon of bright orange will draw hungry passersby in DagHammarskjöld Plaza to stop for a gourmet burger or hotdog. 

The outdoor eatery of DAG’S Patio Cafe, opened last week on 342 E. 47th St., in the plaza across from the United Nations headquarters. 

DAG’S serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner and has 500 square feet of outdoor seating for 125 guests.

Owner Mark Grossich also owns the The World Bar in Trump World Tower.

Signature dishes include the Dag Burger ($6.50), Applewood Cheddar burger ($8), Veggie Burger ($6), as well as the Dag Dog ($5.50), which is made with Applewood bacon, cheddar cheese, fried onion, and mustard.

The meat is exclusively blended by world-famous Pat LaFrieda butchers. 

The menu also offers a variety of breakfast fare, handmade sandwiches and salads, wine and beer, as well as soft drinks and soft serve ice cream.
