Footage showing an adorable boy’s patriotism and respect toward his country has gone viral, winning hearts nationwide.

On Aug. 16, 2018, during a Patriots-Eagles preseason game, a little New England Patriots fan caught the attention of the crowd when he stood proudly and passionately as he sang the National Anthem from his seat at Gillette Stadium.

The patriotic 3-year-old boy was later identified as Garrett Spence, the son of two Boston police officers.

Little Garrett may not have known the words too well, but he was full of pride as he placed his hand over his heart and belted his heart out to the National Anthem as loud as he could, along with Boston Police Officer Kim Tavares.

Officer Tavares gained fame after a video of her singing “God Bless America” with Officer Stephen McNulty during a “cop-pool” karaoke session went viral.

Garrett’s heartfelt singing was caught on video and later shared on the Boston Police Department’s Facebook page.

“Little Garrett may have what it takes for a call to back up in Cop-Pool Karaoke!” the Department wrote.

As one would expect, Garrett’s adorable performance is winning hearts. The post has gone viral, receiving more than 4.1 million views.

“He brought me to tears! I always stand and place my hand over my heart when the National Anthem is played! My son is a United States Marine and Freedom Isn’t Free and never to be disrespected! God Bless America and our troops!” one Facebook user wrote.

Well done Garrett, you have a great voice!

It’s awesome to see a child with so much respect for his nation. A shout-out to the Spence family for raising Garrett right. The world would be a better place if our hearts were as pure as Garrett’s.
