Cuomo: “Shame on us.”

New York Governor Anthony Cuomo doesn’t have a good feeling about the possibility of Anthony Weiner, the former elected official who resigned after a sexting scandal, becoming mayor.

After saying that “it’s basically democracy,” Cuomo said “He runs? He runs,” in his typical form of speech.

Cuomo was discussing politics with the editorial board at the Syracuse Media Group on May 22.

Stephen Rogers, chairman of the group, then said “And if we elect him?”

“Shame on us,” said Cuomo.

Weiner announced on May 22 that he is running for mayor. Elections are this fall.
