My name is Huang Xingping and I work at a District Court in Guangzhou City. Having worked in the judicial system for twenty years, I am keenly aware of its lack of dignity and independence.
Without independence there can be no fairness in the judicial system. When the judicial system serves politics, the court becomes an obedient dog and a body-selling prostitute. The court uses the notion of “people” like a swindler uses props to orchestrate its deceptions.
I see no hope for the possibility of reform in China’s judicial system. I also regret selling out my conscience and violating the ideal of justice in the past. I hereby renounce my membership in the Chinese Communist Party.
