He was getting married in just a few weeks, and he and his fiancee ordered some kegs for the wedding.

“I used that as an excuse to build a kegerator. My fiancee and I designed the panels together and I made it do,” said Imgur user Tim Roark.

First they bought a discontinued floor model freezer for just $140.

Then he added a collar.

Then he wired in a cheap temperature controller.

Next Tim dryfitted, cut a hole in the lid, and taped the temperature probe to the outside.

Then he siliconed and bolted the tower on.

After that, he made side panels out of old barn wood and corrugated metal.

He attached them to the fridge with velcro.

Finally, he made the lid in two pieces to fit around the tower.

And for a finishing touch, he made the tap handles out of some of the barn wood to match.

Quite a project.
