ZURICH, Switzerland—Mr. Rolf Huni, an independent store construction consultant, and his wife, attended the Shen Yun Performing Arts International Company’s fourth performance at the Kongresshaus in Zurich on March 24.

The Huni’s visited China in 2011 and were puzzled by things they observed. In seeing Shen Yun this evening they said, “One year later we had our explanation. Shen Yun is fantastic and a cultural enrichment. What we saw there [in China] and didn’t understand, we found our answer in a perfect explanatory scene. This is excellent,” said Mr. Huni.

“I will tell people what I have experienced watching this show and how fantastic it is,” he said, “and of the stories that are the background of the various scenes. I will tell of the dancers, the music and everything else I saw tonight.

“Lastly, I will say that one will leave at the end of the show relaxed. There are no ifs or buts about it!”

The couple said in unison “fantastic, very beautiful and lots to see.”

Referring to the dances that depict the persecution of Falun Gong in China, Mr. Huni said: “The problematic things in China are brought out very tastefully. This is wonderful that scenes from modern China also are depicted in the show.”

“Falun Gong, also called Falun Dafa, is guided by the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance,” states Shen Yun’s website. “It has helped over a hundred million Chinese people understand and return to the essence of traditional Chinese culture—Confucian, Buddhist, and Taoist schools of thought.”

Shen Yun’s digital animated backdrops were also something that impressed Mr. Huni. He said: “The scenery depicted on the backdrops is fantastic. It is amazing with the figures coming down on the backdrop and suddenly the dancers appear on stage. How did they do this?”

“Shen Yun leaves one with a lasting impression that one takes away with them and never forgets. It enriches, and after six months, one can look at the program again and remember through it more clearly what one has seen, what we have experienced today,” he said.
