A Connecticut school director has been placed on leave after undercover video footage revealed his “sexual fantasies” about his female students.
Project Veritas on Nov. 10 released an undercover video of a Connecticut writing teacher and seventh-grade dean detailing his sexual fantasies with minor students.
Iman Rasti, the seventh-grade dean and English teacher at Greens Farms Academy, admitted that he could “lose his job and reputation for disclosing his sentiments.”
Rasti painted the female students as teases because of how they presented themselves in class. In the Project Veritas footage, he described, in graphic detail, how they sit and what they wear. He claims the sight is “brutal” for him.
He also taught school in his native country of Iran.
Project Veritas released the video on Nov. 11 exposing the educator making sexually explicit comments about his female students and said his thoughts could “get him in trouble at work.”
Rasti described the student’s undergarments in an array of colors and said that the girls “purposefully” sit in a suggestive way, which bothers him, he said.
He went on to say that this happens daily and makes it hard for him to teach.
The cost of an education at Green Farms Academy in Westport, Connecticut, is $50,000 per year, and its website says its goal is to “provide students with a sense of connection, a foundation, trust, and respect.”
Project Veritas admitted at first they thought he was just “fantasizing” and was making things up to the undercover journalist, so they interviewed him a second time and found that he was “not fantasizing at all.”
He disclosed to the reporter that he has not acted upon his fantasies, but said he “is willing to make exceptions on his principle” not to have his students “get the vibe.”
“That’s my brain; That’s your watch; Don’t do that,” Rasti said, playing in his mind as he looked at the students. “Sometimes I make exceptions.”
Tom Mc Andrew, a 25-year veteran of the Pennsylvania State Police who performed personality profiles of offenders, was asked to view the video and give his thoughts.
McAndrew said that Rastim, in his opinion, has “blurred the lines between fantasy and reality.”
“He certainly is in a position of power and authority,” he said. “This individual would strike me as somebody if he has not already acted out... he certainly has thought about it.”
When thinking about the act, the perpetrator will “justify that behavior in their mind,” he continued. “I wouldn’t want this individual around my teenage child when this is where his thought processes.”
McAndrew said he found Rasti seemed to have an “obsession, ” which is why he frequently talked about it and showed that it was constantly on his mind.
Green Farms Academy released a statement that said:
“We are placing the employee on leave and will be promptly investigating this matter and taking appropriate action.”
Rasti was placed on leave after the video surfaced.
