TAIPEI, Taiwan—Chairman of Hotaifugi Metal Products Co., LTD., Huang Shih-yen, saw Shen Yun Performing Arts at Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall in Taipei on the afternoon of Feb. 23 for the first time.
“It is quite refreshing. The level is just extremely high. The whole production team was really at pains to get everything just perfect.” Mr. Huang said after seeing the show: “The costumes and the music were just magnificent. No wonder they can perform around the world for more than 300 shows. It’s really precious, very precious!”
He said that Shen Yun brings such a fantastic performance to the world. “I think that the descendants of the Chinese future generation can hold their heads high in the whole world. The show was just brilliant. It really moved people to tears.”
He added that every program was great. “It’s just amazing, just splendid. It’s really creative!” he said when talking about the combination of dance performers, orchestra, and the dynamic backdrops.
Mr. Huang said he was moved to tears several times when watching the programs. “It just penetrated to the deep core of my heart. I felt that it is really unexpected to the whole world that the Chinese people can perform so well. It is really a lasting charm from gods. I was very touched.”
He said that every program was just well put together; all the dances, flips and tumbling in the performance were extremely difficult; the costumes were elaborate, so it’s really a grand company. “It’s the glory of the Chinese people!” said Mr. Huang.
Mr. Huang stressed that Western people might not expect that the Chinese people can do such a good job, and they might never see such a good show, so it is really the pride of the Chinese future generation. Westerners do not know much about the Chinese culture, he said, it’s a very good way for them to learn the Chinese culture through classical Chinese dance.
He said: “I have such a thought that I really hope to ask people to come over and see the show quickly. From now to Tuesday, Shen Yun will be performing in Taipei. I hope more friends can come and see the show to experience feelings that they have never felt before.”
