Columbus Day 2014 is this Monday, and a number of people are wondering what’s open or closed.
Schools, the post office, the DMV, and the stock exchange are closed.
Mail delivery won’t occur on the day, either.

Walmart: Will be open. Some Walmart Super Walmart stores will be open 24 hours on Columbus Day. Check hours before going.
Target: Most Target locatons will be open. Check hours.
Costco: Costco won’t be open and is one of the few stores closed on the holiday.
CVS is open. Check hours.
Rite Aid is open as well. Check hours.
Walgreens is also open. Check hours.
Duane Reade is open. Check hours.
Albertson’s is open but some store hours might vary. Some stores close at 4 p.m. Check hours.
Home Depot is also open.
