Flash flooding has broken two dams on Thursday--one in the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge near Denver and another in Larimer County.

Officials said that the retaining pond dam broke at about 10 a.m. MDT at the refuge, according to the Denver Post.

Three dams flooded and one broke in the Big Elk Meadows Area, trapping one family in their home.

Dams around Denver appear to be in good condition so far.
